^A wine is corked when I becomes oxidised (usually caused by a poor seal, or if the cork was damaged allowing the oxygen in) not because some of the cork has fallen into the wine. Plus I don`t think it would anyway

no, hitting it against the wall forces the cork OUT, not in. the extra air creates a vaccum when all the wine rebounds off the bottom and has nowhere to go
