by his reaction we can be sure that he knows how ridiculous that is, and doesn`t believe it at all, but he gets a good job, money and power from scientology, so won`t admit it. which would be shooting himself in the foot really.

he also doesnt deny it and walks out when pressed on it. if it was ridiculous and false, it would be very easy to say "no, thats not real" as opposed to "That offends my religious beliefs to talk about that". Much like how they have their lawyers take down the leaks of that doccument as "copyrighted material". why would they copyright and protect so fervently something that is untrue?

sounds to me that that`s exactly what they believe, AND they know its ridiculous and dont want it to get out, since they`re all about image.

on another note, its not much more ridiculous than a magic bearded man in the sky that watches you masturbate and created the earth in 7 days
