This is a Video of Greg Howard, a Chapman Stick user. Playing and explaining the Chapman Stick. The Chapman Stick was created by Emmett Chapman. It's sorta like a keyboard + Guitar. It isn't a very well known instrument and only used by a few artists.

If you want to hear one of these in action, check out Tony Levin, one of the best electric bass/stick players alive. He has a bunch of solo albums, he is a member of King Crimson, and he's done a ton of studio work for people like Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, David Bowie, etc..

One of the best examples of the stick would be the song "Elephant Talk" from King Crimson's album Discipline.. Enjoy!!

The bassist from Liquid Tension (offshoot of Dream Theater) uses one of these instruments, hes really good with it as well.

Yup, and John Myung the bassist of Dream Theater has used it on occasion. I THINK in Scenes from a Memory.

Edit: My bad, 2 songs in 'Falling Into Infinity' had the Chapman Stick in them "New Millennium" and "Take Away My Pain"
