A cheerleader for the Washington Redskins took the seasonal flu shot and soon enough was diagnosed with a rare symptom called Dystonia. She walks and runs backwards fine and speaks fine too, but only when she stops the spasms start.

I love it at 2:03 where the video is edited to make the guy say doctors are saying what happened to her should discourage people from getting flu shots. You can tell he was going to say Shouldn`t then the audio blip is heard.

heh wait for all the `see vaccines are dangerous!` comments.
think about it, 1 person gets a bad reaction, thousands die from influenza... hmmm, tough math there! if this is too much for anyone to comprehend, by all means please don`t get vaccinated, your increased risk of death will be doing the rest of the gene pool a favour.

Just read some stuff online, and if this video is even true, then Desiree would have already have dystonia before the shot, and the effects worsened with the flu shot....
Here`s the interesting part: this effect has also happened to people who previously had dystonia and have taken: yellow fever shots, tetanus shots, type 3 anesthesia (the strong one, the one that makes you pass out), and hepatitis type B shots... See a pattern here?
It`s not the flu shot, it`s an element in vaccines that triggers this. Someone with a bit more knowledge could maybe explain better? Maybe the body can`t produce enough white cells and breaks down... I don`t know...
What have we learned today?
Stop f***ing believing everything is a conspiracy and take a damned flu shot!

I have a hard time buying this, especially after seeing her walk backwards, and be perfectly fine while she`s running. That said, I find it FUNNY AS FUCK!!! I can just picture her practicing in front of the mirror like Cartman in the Special Olympics episode of South Park. DUR!!!

This is the fourth video of this one girl I have seen, apparently to scare people out of getting vaccinated. It`s like telling your friends "Did you hear about that guy who was brushing his teeth... Got raped by a velociraptor. Never brush your teeth dude".

Case studies are interesting, puzzling, and scary, but if they had any bearing on people in general they would be statistically relevant trends, not case studies. This wouldn`t even get attention if it were an ugly dude, and not a cheerleader.

Edit: I looked at several versions of this video on youtube and they all have the skip at 2:03, on the line about doctors saying you shouldn`t be discouraged from getting flu shots, and the skip makes it sound like "should discourage". It seems like that was an intentional edit, which would be wildly irresponsible by whoever thought that seeing this one story made them more knowledgeable about vaccination than doctors.
