The fan lost it for the away team... so the likelihood wasn`t that he`d get beaten up by 65,000 - but rather patted on the back by 65,000.

^ and yea, the goal should`ve been disallowed because it`s classed as interference - which is why the F.A. demoted the referee.

Fuckin` oath. When I saw that I was wondering how the hell that got allowed. That was like the DEFINITION of interference. That goal score had NOTHING to do with the game.

If the schedule allowed and teams allowed it, they would have a rematch, but obviously neither would. At the least, I`m glad that ref got demoted. What an absolute idiot.
