Now don`t get me wrong. There are a lot of things about the Jonas Brothers that I don`t like. I nearly cried when I heard their cover of "I want to be like you" from the Jungle Book. They are evangelicals ,apparently, which I never hear them talk about unless pressed by an interviewer. They will also never, not even by a stroke of their God, be anywhere near as awesome as Queen.

HOWEVER. Nick does a lot for diabetes awareness, arguably only because he has diabetes, which is a plus. The band is a positive role model for their base audience, mainly kids in their tweens, and parents can at least not worry that when they listen to them they will be spewing dumb shit. I think I would be even more behind them if I knew they supported science education specifically, but that`s a long shot.

I may think their music sucks, but let`s give credit where credit is due.

I`ll introduce all the really really legendary music to my kids, but as for whats on TV, what gets talked about in school, and role model appeal, I won`t complain too much.

@mostafa.redha: Watch the South Park episode "The Ring" (ep.1, season 13) and you`ll know all about them.. I can recommend it to everybody else as well!
