i didn`t get sick from the corpse itself...but from the blurring and color affect they put in...that`s probably why they said disturbing images.

I read the book Stiff: The Curious Lives Of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach a few years back. It talks about the different things your body can go to if you donate it to science and also some medical history.

It talks about this. Apparently when your brains decompose and start coming out of your head it looks like chicken noodle soup, and the maggots look and sound like rice crispies.

Great work their doing but at one point he says "this work will be a gold standard for investigators." Which indeed it will expect for the issue of climate, since Tennessee and say Vegas have very different climates the effects on the body would be different.

Those of you on this site who claim atheism... please consider checking that box. This sort of research truly does make people`s lives better after you are gone. And this is a puddle compared to the ocean of data that cadaver research can provide.
