To me there is no difference between Gay and Lesbian rights and equal rights for African Americans. It is the same fight, and deserves the same outcome.

Let this be some sort of lesson to some of you! Don`t simply judge a person by their party! I really hate it when people say things like "that damned right wing conservative bible thumping republican!" or "that pot smoking leftist liberal democrat!" Judge a person by the veracity and integrity of their statements. Most of the time both sides are doing something to serve themselves rather than others. Other times, people really think that what they are promoting is the best idea/ solution/ principle.

Whatever girl I bring home to fuck is no one else`s business but mine. The same thing goes for everyone in my opinion. Great speech. This is a man worth listening to, and worth respecting. Sadly, one of the last of his generation.

Our grandparents had a struggle that snapped them out of childish adolescence, but we have not - I`m not saying servicemen and women are not doing a fine job now, mind you. But it seems the modern culture is based around avoiding responsibility.

Is it because we don`t want to grow up? If all of us grew up, this wouldn`t be an issue - it`d be resolved already. Damned shame, really, that this is still being debated. Resolve it - give gays and lesbians a right to marriage, and goddamn move on already, politicians.

There has been much talk of scientists finding "gay" animals and such but here is what they don`t tell you. In the studies the only animals that they could find engaging in homosexual activity are ones that have been under stress or subjected to an environment where regular sexual activity was not available. They even took this further by reintroducing the so called "gay" animals with available partners...guess what happened. There was no study that the animal picked the same sex over the opposite. Think of this like being in jail, those dudes aren`t gay but they are damned sure going to fuck something, it`s a combination of stress and lack of sexual stimulation....just like in the animal kingdom. One law of nature that is true for everything everywhere, reproduction is instinct, and your #1 priority.

Just food for thought. It seems like your going to have to separate church from state for a little bit to get your way. You will notice that christianity looks down on the homosexual community....now take a quick look at your money.

After what i`m saying I just realize, it seems neither science or religion support free will homosexuality.

^^^ I`m sorry tokentiki but I have done research myself in sexuality studies classes at the university I`m currently attending, and have read up on many different VERIFIED scientific endeavours looking into this. There IS homosexuality documented and verified in a number of animal species, and to propose as you have that homosexuality is a choice is in itself bullshit. Think about this as a logic argument. All around the world, people engage in gay intercourse when they REALLY dont have to. Think about how many girls gay guys get. This man (who I have untold respect for) in the video has 4 kids, and was raised to be what seems like a rural Republican, and surely raised his kids to be the same. One of his kids decides to just rebel for shits and giggles? Millions of humans around the world do the same? For shits and giggles? Sacrifice their rights, their ability to lead a normal life, and a society that accepts them? As a choice? It makes absolutely no sense. And as you say something "science doesn`t support" you should watch your words before you throw around what science does and does not support. Because there is a LOT of science that does exactly what you say it doesn`t. To keep it short, however, homosexuality and bisexuality is NOT a choice, it is simply what you are attracted to. Somewhere between conception and puberty, it has already been decided.
