This morning the Yes Men and the Avaaz Action Factory posed as representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and announced that the business group had changed their position on climate legislation from not supporting it to giving it a full throated endorsment. The ruse hooked Reuters, the Washington Post and others, but it didn't fool the Chamber itself, which sent a representative to the fake press conference at the John Peter Zenger Room at the National Press Club to put a stop to things.
