It`s under appeal, the nine paragraphs are still unpublished. Obama released the torture records, so what`s the big deal bitch? How can American intelligence get all pissy with us because we admit what they already have?

Let`s try and be grown up about this, the contents of those paragraphs cannot be more damning than keeping them secret now we know they exist. That Milliband prick needs to appear on a certain Japanese prank show before I take him seriously.

We know we are utterly sunk when our governments always appeal decisions by our courts just because they don`t get the outcome they want. In what way does that make any possible sense? Appeals are explicitly supposed to be there to fix errors in applying the law. They are not supposed to be a cheap chance to endlessly tie up justice for the loser of every case.

If governments appealed honestly, then we would see an equal incidence of them appealing cases they won as cases they lost. Of course that`s if they were actually for the people, and for true justice. Meanwhile, back to reality...

This is just another example of why we are fucked and why we need a whole new system. The old was OK while it lasted, but those days are long gone. I vote for direct democracy via the internet. Fuck, we have to try something new.
