the rockefeller family funded the early feminism campaigns. It was done to break up the american family, and they also get alot more income tax due to the amount of families that have been broken up due to this crap.

This had absolutely nothing to do with "feminism". This had everything to do with the feminizing of our culture.

Feminism isn`t even concerned with any of these issues. Feminism is concerned with the state of women`s health, rights, etc.

Bill makes some good points about anti-masculinity. And yes, men aren`t allowed to be "men" these days. But if you`re going to strut around saying "Oh, Bill is so right. Feminism is evil" you`re missing the point.

Not only are you off the mark, you`re firing at the golf coarse.

This is interesting and funny but it relys on the assumption that masculine and feminine traits are linked to male and female biology. Feminism tries to break down these social constructions.

I would suggest that the only reason women generally demonstrate the characteristics we term "feminine" is because they are conditioned to do so.

This is definitely how I should be applying my degree to the world.

Yeaaaaah, this was actually pretty terrible. Normally I like Bill Maher, but his outlook on gender is just retarded. I agree that America has become "feminized," but he really didn`t talk much about that. I agree that men are, at times, forced to be a bit too restrained in their masculinity.

Unfortunately, these points were barely there compared to the ridiculous crap he said. The suggestion that all men want is new women (suggesting a never-ending line of new women, one after another) is ridiculous, and the idea that "we`re only here because of men`s desire to spread their seed" is leaving out the entire female side of the equation.

I realize that this site is generally brimming over with masculinity, so I`m going to get voted down for disliking this video, but...yeah. I guess I disagree with Maher when it comes to gender issues.

Gone are the days where chores are distributed as: Man - Dirty, physical, unpleasant. Woman - Detailed, ordered, tedious. Nono, what I`m saying right now is sexist. I`m ok with that. Go replace the oil in the car if you really want, it needs to be done. Just remember, I don`t care if I go to work with an unwashed shirt.

You seem to be very offended by the "new" joke, you obviously didn`t get it! Men do not want "an endless line of new women" to impregnate, men like shiny new stuff, so they like variety. That`s what he referred to as "old and new", he did not mention any "woman" or "women" in that sentence and I cannot see that in the context. Hugh Grant is given as an example of how a man can get bored of even the sexiest of women and need to experience something "new". That new does not have to be a black hooker, that "new" can be something new inside their relationship...
