Maybe he`s just taping the differential to prevent the spider gears from shifting while he pulls it out.... I couldn`t see this being very effective in preventing slippage.. Weird

All the tools you need are WD-40 and duct tape. If it`s moving, and shouldnt, use duct tape. If it isn`t moving, and should, use WD-40. If it doesn`t work, you haven`t used enough!
