I just find it sad how Microsoft still has not found the solution to the problem they created themselves. I have two red ringed 360s just sitting in my basement.

Why didn`t you get them repaired for free by microsoft instead of letting them sit in the basement?

IF you don`t have warranty with microsoft anymore just fix it yourself. its really easy.

Most cases the fix is just by cleaning the CPU and GPU, reapplying thermal paste, adding the washers, running it with the fans off until it gives an overheat warning on front, reboot, works. Just did it to mine. Once I took the console apart and saw what has become of it, I wasn`t surprised it failed lol.

There`s quite a lot of videos on YouTube going through the process in full detail so you can do it alongside watching them. DO NOT do the stupid fix "baking" it in towels. It works, but destroys the hardware over time and you will continue getting RRoDs.
