If a man tries to step in alone and spirit away a 15 year old woman (girl), he risks being charged with abduction, kidnapping, or somesuch, and will AT MINIMUM be viewed with extreme suspicion. The guy who took pictures was starting on the right track, but he would have mailed them to the fire dept. after the house had already burnt down. How long do you have when someone is drowning? About 2 minutes max. Sometimes there is no time to waste.

Let`s be clear: they are seeing a rape / abduction / kidnapping in progress. The exact charges and details are for the prosecutor to sort out. Immediate protection of the victim and apprehension of the perpetrator must be a police matter, with public intervention until they arrive. It is an emergency situation.

What I would do: 1. A call to police to report rape / abduction / kidnapping. 2. An immediate head-to-head with restaurant management / staff to coordinate plan and secure witnesses, plus any available useful looking bystanders (kitchen staff are often good effective folks too, and have knives). 3. Ready weapons as available, hold steady vigil to gather evidence and prevent escape at any cost, use of force as needed until police arrive.

How many of these shows must we watch before we figure out not to be sheep? How many tragedies will we witness passively before we steel ourselves to action? I know it`s not easy, there is huge personal risk, and it requires vigilance and effort completely on behalf of others, with no guarantee of any payback. None the less, I cannot stand by, so long as I can see.

I really like this entire "what would you do" series. It`s a fine starting point for waking people up. Appropriate too since decades of fluffy TV is a very big part of what has put them to sleep. Total props for them taking on difficult stuff like this topic, it can`t be easy work.

This show is so full of shit. "Look what happens if you put a bunch of actors in public and tell them exactly what to do." If you want to push an agenda, push it on its own merits, quit dressing it up and calling it reality.
