Incredible, the last bit of this really strikes the point home. And speaking of reform, I think the left could really use some restructuring.

In his own words:

I know "lobby" was once a common word, but in Washington these days, we need have no doubt that it`s an industry paid position. He either spoke more truthfully than he intended, or he actually honestly believes that no hired lobbyists means it`s a bad idea with no support, and implicitly doesn`t give a fuck what the public thinks.

Very true words. If the public/you/we do not stick up for what you want than the public/you/we are not running the government. At that point in time it is no longer a government "for the people, by the people" it is a dictatorship/fascist regime.

In a related comment I am know a believer that "we/public" need to be free to carry guns.

Just my thoughts.......
