Before Superman Returns, Tim Burton wanted to reboot the Superman franchise - and thought it was a good idea for Nic Cage to portray the Man of Steel.

That pic is fake. It`s Cage`s head photoshopped on an action figure. I`ve got pics of the real Tim Burton Superman suit and that`s not it.

The rumor was true though and the real one looked almost just as bad.

Bizarro! it`s obviously not a superman costume but people keep propagating that idea. the colors are off, the `S` is off center, and the musculature is wonky.

Nic Cage is a massive superman fan. He named his son Kal-el. that`s why he was in talks for the role.

But he really should`ve accepted the fact he`s just not cut from the superman cloth.
