^Atkinson WAS funny. But then we reached the age of 10. After this age only the people who laugh because they hear other people laughing think he is funny. It`s called manipulation. They use it in almost every `comedy` series nowadays.

^That`s because Rowan Atkinson played Mr. Bean for years..

Anyhoo, I think this is one of his funniest sketches. And the main reason why people laugh is because of his unusual delivery of lines that are `supposedly` from the Bible. The whole "whence" at the start was fantastic, because it felt `bible-ish`.
