the previous record according to the video was 19.30 seconds and then he ran 19.19 seconds, a tenth of a second isn`t really record shattering. but he did beat the other guys by a lot.

Bolt does NOT run at 40 mph. That`s ridiculous. His top speed was 27.45 mph from the 100m on August 16th, `09.

while I am all for measuring his speed in baby deaths per meter, he doesn`t get to 40 mph, I would guess he doesn`t even get to 30 mph...upper 20`s as a top speed and low 20`s as an average over the total distance

maclker probly got confused when he saw 40 ?ph, he must mistook 40 kph for mph... In kph his average speed is about 37 kph, although i suspect it might peak at 40...
