in canada, radio time is required to be a certain percentage canadian-made music. so nickelback gets a lot of playtime from that, and also douchebags playing it doesn`t help.

Well Frunzi, let me be the first to tell you that I actually do enjoy Nickelback. I know I`m going to get voted down by expressing personal opinion on the internet (which is akin to eating a baby while setting puppies on fire), but I have enjoyed their music and especially their live performances. People say they are mindless generic rock, but there`s nothing wrong with that from time to time (for me at least). *shrugs* I dunno, I guess I have a hard time understanding why ANY band is hated on. Sure the band may not be for you, but unless they perpetuate negative messages why hate the band and the people who like them?
