Forgive me, mostafa.redha - I kept telling myself to make this gallery and somehow it took forever. Ya'll have most likely seen these already but oh well.

He doesnt look anything like max should. I`m not looking forwards to this one. The first one was great, the second was ok and this one will probably be pretty bad.

I don`t understand what the game developers were thinking. When I first saw the screenshots, I thought it was a joke and I laughed.

For me, Max Payne = bullet-time, painkillers, comics, cool monologues, dark snowy city, cold haunting atmosphere, surreal, twisted scenes, black leather jacket, an awesome arsenal and a huge portion of kick-ass action.

It looks like from the list above, this will only have bullet-time, which is not a unique video game feature anymore. In fact, this Max Payne looks like a couch potato, who lifted up his ass and grabbed his pistols to seek revenge on a pizza guy, who forgot to put some extra cheese in his order.

Actually, he kinda reminds me of the machine gun dude(Heavy) from Team Fortress 2.

Hmm i`m agree with some guys here, the hero doesn`t look like the old Max Payne.

But when rockstar doesn`t created a good game? Few screenshots for me doesn`t say anything about all game.

Basically heres how I think it went down.

"We have a game engine sitting around, fuck it, lets sell this, yeah max payne,that name will sell. oh wait its in the jungle. Its cool they`ll still buy it. But we cant be arsed skinning a new Max, its cool take this generic, sam fisher based skin we have lying around. Sorted!"

what an abononation this game will be, Max Payne 1 & 2 are still good games even by todays standards, but this generic looking peice of shit is just going to ruin another wise excellent series of games!

lol, look at it!!! it couldnt be any further away from may payne if they tried. it looks EXACTLY like every other generic shooter out there and im willing to bet it will also play like every other generic shooter out there. theres a COVER SYSTEM FFS!! a fucking cover system in Max Payne!! might as well have him fighting aliens or Nazi`s!!

I don`t know guys, like we all know squeals to brilliant games most of the time suck, but in this its not set in NYC with him set out for revenge, as according to Game Informer the story is set 12 years after the last game. Payne has left the NYPD, and has moved to São Paulo, Brazil where he`s taken up employment in the private security sector, working for a wealthy local family.

I love the Max Payne series, I know I`m gonna get it, and I`m hoping it will as good as the other two.

For me, a psycho New york or Psycho Venezuala will be correct... Do you remember Resident evil 4 or 5... without Raccoon city?

Few screenshot said nothing.Cover system or not doesn`t care, Gta 4 one of best cover system... Just wait, it`s will be certainly a game base of gta 4 engine anyway.

the GTA4 cover system was a buggy peice of shit!!

its not even a decent cover system, its just a generic " we have to have it, because everybody else has" cover system.. not even close to being as intuitive or responsive as the likes of gears of war or rainbow six vegas.

But there SHOULDNT be a cover system, EVER. it goes totally against the max payne combat system, which is jump right in the middle and blast every one to shit, in slow mo. Thats what made it good, thats what made it Max Payne.

If theres a cover system, the level desingers will build the maps to accomidate it and hense killing what made max payne what it was. Im also willing to bet we get the good old regenerating health so the games not to hard for the kids!!

And you should realy play max payne again, assuming you`v played it before, because im pretty sure you`ve missed the point (although i dont quite understand what you where trying to say in that first sentence, i cetinaly wouldnt relate it in anyway to MP other than the fact it has it in the sentence!)

also if it is in fact on the GTA4 engine, the its already confirmed shit before its even out the box!

(P.S. these are not actually screenshots, their whats called bullshots, mabey some of it came form the game, but most of its photoshop!)
