Looks like that is an overpass or raised road of some sort, which would form ice a lot easier on a cold wet day than regular roads.
This guy has the most exciting office view in town!

fish and rice is on the right track here. its ice, not water that caused the slides.

however its the DRIVERS that caused every single one of those accidents, all of which (save the bike) where easily recoverable. go back and watch the video again, but pay attention to the front wheels. the ONLY persons who even made an ATTEMPT at correction was the first dark sedan, and the beetle. both attempts are slow. as. fuck. The last car dosent even go to the brakes, which is shocking. not to be sexist (just playing the odds, really) is probably a woman who is simply freaking out and became as worthless as a passenger as soon as the car lost traction.

people, this is not rocket science; its vehicle dynamics and high school physics. if you cant recover a slide you need to get your "black ass out the pool" and go take a driving class.

"Black ice, also known as "glare ice" or "clear ice," typically refers to a thin coating of glazed ice on a surface, often a roadway. While not truly black, it is transparent, allowing the usually-black asphalt/macadam roadway to be seen through it, hence the term. It is unusually slick compared to other forms of roadway ice, and is a factor in some car accidents.

Because it contains relatively little entrapped air in the form of bubbles, black ice is transparent and thus very difficult to see (as compared to snow, frozen slush). In addition, it often is interleaved with wet road, which is identical in appearance. For this reason it is especially hazardous when driving or walking because it is both hard to see and unexpectedly slick."
