How is this not rated five?

Aside from being one of the greatest accomplishments in cinematic history, you`d think that this series had -something- anyone might like.

It had great storytelling, spectacular characters, awe-inspiring design, bold fantasy themes, jaw-dropping action segments, and visionary attention to grand themes as well as small details.

This movie was a work of art.

My hope in uploading this was to inspire others to watch again the movies or read again the books.

I have been reading the books again, now that I am a little older, and find them quite a bit more engaging than when I first attempted them as a kid.

This trailer is from the Return of the King dvd and there existed no good quality version of it on YouTube so I took the liberty of ripping it myself for the enjoyment of everyone.

To my (limited) movie knowledge, no movie has yet to come close to the sheer scale and impact that Peter Jackson`s Lord of the Rings trilogy has made.

Get pumped for the Hobbit in 2011 and 2012 (yes, it is slated to be split into two movies)!!

What I don`t understand is the Two Towers is the lowest rated of the 3 films on imdb. For me it was my favorite. The epic battle of helm`s deep, the introduction of the treants and the love story truly surpassed the first film
