Ron Paul & Peter Schiff - Hyperinflation...

The Federal Reserve (assholes) doubled the money supply last year. It`s open corruption now and they`re deliberately destroying the dollar at an extraordinary pace. Fuck Big Government!

Maybe the Obama administration is trying, but his hands are tied, and who benefits by pulling those strings?

Well... if the Federal Reserve is trashing the dollar, and inflation is taxation without legizlation; it means you have to work harder to get what you want, I might be cool with that since americans are wasteful self-indulgent people..

..but when the whole corporate mechanism is behind that, along with planned obsolescence, massive junk food production and news tampering.. it means they are using the people to indulge themselves (by making you buy shit you don`t need).

So what happens when self-indulgent meets executive/judicial/legislation power? You get a cop who can make laws to taser you in the balls whenever he wants; spin the news and skyrocket used groin cup protection sales, just because he wants to (have another 72 virgin orgy with Megan Fox).

^ Inflation doesn`t make anyone work harder. In fact it discourages consumption and business investment. To economists, government inflation is the mean to decrease purchasing power of its currency. Just because you slice the pie differently and let the government throw some of the slices away, it does not make the pie any bigger.

^ Try better next time; I said "have to work harder to get" -not "[inflation] will make them work harder to get". It means different things, the first sets a condition (work harder = goodies), the second dictates an outcome (inflation = work harder).

Having to work harder to get what you want, discourages consumerism and promotes responsible spending... kinda like what you said but on a more positive light don`t you think?

^ There are always going to be a group of population who are more wise in spending than the others. No one should preauthorize how you spend your money. Whether spend responsibly or not, it is left up to you. I don`t know need someone going into my fridge and steal half my food to be a responsible spender.

Of course. But the goverment should be responsible and that`s not what`s happening because voters trade in long-term well-being for inmediate consumption, all in the defense of individual rights (that eventually are being lost under this system).

The Federal Reserve needs to go, "Walmart" needs to pay and the goverment should make it harder to get commodities in favor of getting everyone what they need.

lol, we made ourselves a forum. Nice debate, but it all started on a bittersweet observation of the good in the bad. We basically think the same, but -maybe- I`m just more of a Robin Hood idea: steal the stolen from the stealer.

Perhaps we`ll meet again, I enjoyed it.
