This news cast illustrates how perceptions of UFO reports are sometimes manipulated by the media. The clip starts with a reporter describing witnesses testimony. Nothing wacky, just legitimate concerns about safety, along with reports of many qualified observers (aircraft mechanics, etc.) who observed this apparent unidentified aircraft.
They also show people looking to the sky, and taking pictures. Then they cut to a bunch of balloons floating in the sky. This is clearly not what was reported by witnesses, and there is no shot panning from the ground scene to the balloons. Subtle, and a area of interest inconsequential to most, but this is how they shape our opinions on this (and many other) subjects. And it`s effective.
