Communism is socialist construct, It fails because it is inflexible and for some reason invariably an evil dictatorship as well. Socialism works o.k. if your smart about it, best of all it means there is no capitalism to ruin your democracy.

Of course here in the U.k. we are trying to have both socialism and capitalism. To demonstrate how well that works, ladies and gentlemen I present to you our railway transport system. If you need to puke laughing that is perfectly understandable.

Most european countries understand socialism isnt 100% evil, the country needs to be ballanced between socialism and capitalism, like we have here in Denmark, its free here in Denmark to get your life saved, Education is free also... so even if you dont have money, you can become an engineer... if you have the sufficiant skills to do well in school. Its just hard to be a student cus you only get a little free money from the state to live off... just enough to pay for a small apartment and some food... (We call it SU. State Educationalsupport)

And how do you explain USA owns China $Trillions? Did capitalism still win? Thats bullshit because it uses inappropriate example and try to justify private health care is better.
So when exactly is the price going to come down, they always bring this up when there are proposals to have government health care, once the bill is defeated, they just keep their high prices all over again.

^The US government doesn`t run on a basis on capitalism and free market. If that were true then it wouldn`t give any money to things like stem cell research since the medical industry would just do their own research. And we all know that everything the US government has come up with during the research is total crap. The internet, computers, jet liners, teflon, nuclear power and stem cell research is socialism in action, people! Boycott these horrible thing to prove that you reject socialism!

^lol the market does and will make its own produces if they`re worth while. Just because socialist programs ended up making some products doesn`t mean it wouldn`t have happened someday anyway. If you believe stem cells have changed or improved your life then you and the company that stands to profit should put up the money. I shouldn`t have to pay for it.

I have never lived in a socialist country, so I can`t say what they are like, but I have lived in Brazil where it is more socialist than the United States. I must say that the country is falling apart.

Socialism wouldn`t work in the United States unless there was a complete overhaul of it`s political system.

Unless I`m mistaken, the government of the United States has gone through very little changes since it has been established and has lasted longer than any other government in the rest of the world, with the exception of a few indigenous tribes here and there.

Socialism isn`t free, either; the money used to pay for whatever good or service comes from the people, socialist countries don`t miss the money because they have never seen it , and, in some cases, never knew it existed.

Every political system has its flaws, only time will show them.

Our government has gone through monumental changes throughout its lifespan.

However, our constitution is still only lightly altered, and through amendments. However, the government`s policies, size, behavior, and relationship to states and the world have shifted in great excess.

I think the time period this country likes to try to forget is the Socialist revolution, or at least the attempt for one. However, since I think everyone should read Upton Sinclair`s, The Jungle, I won`t spoil it for you.

But I`ll give you a hint: It wasn`t about the meat packing industry.
