When compared to the Rap Chop video, one quickly realizes Steve Porter`s "songwriting" consists of 5 notes and many, many repeats. The begining of both "songs" is identical.

Mr. Porter, it was funny one time. Now we can see the true extent of your talent.

technology is amazing for music...if anything it has increased it`s potential. i`m sure you like at least some funk or possibly some drum and bass?(hype hype hype?) Synthesizers are amazing tools and the software you can get isn`t like a playstation beatmachine. One of the first and i think easiest tools to use is the vocoder and the current rap must make you think it`s easy...that`s just rap though. It`s not like you can download a copy of fl studio and make a hit single...now i would hate on fl studio but a lot of oldschool rappers used it for beatz. so it`s hard to agree for at least me anyway, that technology has hindered music in any way.

I`d also like to point out the Amen Break that somehow people take a natural liking to and is found in most electronic music...even this. ^Might be the similarity your picking out.
