Turn your P.c. off at the wall, unplugg it, draw a pentagram on the floor with salt, drink a bottle of blessed vodka and chant "Wandows Nyrmadly" untill Satan`s IT guy appears to help you.

It`s a regedit hack. You can do this to your Start button, Browser, or almost anything else with letters.

I built a PC for my brother and the Windows start up caterpillar say YOU SUCK instead of WindowsXP.

I found this explanation online:

"Notice that there are actually lots of "faulty" characters here. They are all out by 8 places. For example the "a" in "Wandows" should be an "i", and i is 8 letters later than a. The same applies to the "$" sign - it`s 8 letters away from a comma. - lets call this data distorsion.

This constant shift of 8 is harder to locate, but is almost certainly a hardware problem (and therefore not windows` fault). Assuming the data is correct on the hard disk, then somehow the data has been distorted somewhere on the way to the screen. Since the screen is displaying at all, that implies the bootloader has loaded, therefore this data distorsion isn`t happening to instructions, therefore it is unlikley to be caused by anything that also handles instructions, such as the hard disk, ide cable, ide\sata controller, the southbidge to the cpu, the cpu cache, or anything in the memory path. Since the distortion is a shift of 8, thats a constant bit error (2^3=8, bit 3 is faulty), which indicates the error is in a parallel data bus, register or memory.

For those reasons, I`m guessing the error is either between the southbridge and the gfx card, or within the graphics card itself. The most likley cause would be an error on a data bus, which would often be caused by a loose edge connector on the graphics card, or a bent or damaged pin on a surface mount chip.

If you`re feeling enthusastic, a quick test would be to make a little program to run on the bare hardware to output a constant stream of a certain character and then fiddle around inside the computer while it`s powered on (eg. pressing chips down). By watching the screen you should be able to figure out which component is faulty.

One such program would be:
mov ah, 0xA
mov al, `A`
loop:
int 10
jmp loop

This program needs to be compiled and run with no OS under it. for this you could write it to the first sector of a usb stick/floppy disk with dd, and then boot from it. Rememeber you need the 55AA at the end of the sector for the bios to run it."
