like seriously... i dont understand why hollywood wont learn from ther mistakes... USING WHITE ACTORS IN AN ASIAN STORY LINES DONT WORK... they screwed up dragon ball... screwed up forbidden kingdom.... now there gonna screw up one of the most popular cartoons

Airbenders are suppose to be using a style in chinese kung fu called Ba Gua... NOT KARATE

sigh, i might be over reacting but i grew up chinese and practiced kung fu...to see traditional kung fu replaced by another style is really upsetting

Just guessing here but perhaps of the airbender did more than just create wind in a general direction of the enemy, they wouldn`t have been wiped out.

nice try at indignation but aang in the cartoon was whiter than liquid paper, albiet he had a very Asian attitude/past, the cartoon had a very heavy Asian influence but it definitely was not set in any Asian country it was in a made up place, the only person with a heavy asian accent in the whole cast was Mako (he did an amazing job in that role also).

that aside i think an avatar movie has good potential for screen adaptation, but in order for it to go to live action well they will have to do some stuff that some might not like (like aim it at a slightly older audience) but overall i think it could be done and done well, hopefully they don`t change too much of the core. hoping to see good things of this movie.

There are no asians on the cast at all which is really funny considering this is suppose to be a martial arts movie. Seriously check imdb. There are no asians. lol

I can`t make a fair judgment on the trailer because having Optimus narrate keeps making me think about what would happen if the transformers took on the fire nation.

The part with the Ships really get the point across!

But I don`t think that they could possibly cram all the seasons into just two hours. So more than likely, it will be a disappointment.

something More like trilogy`s, would be a better option!

Seeing how each of the elemental moves were based on Chinese martial arts, how the whole architects of the place and world was very orients - but nOoOoo, just cause one character only talks with a Chinese accent, the whole world is thus judged, not Chinese..

Westerners are really pathetic in trying to claim other cultures for their own huh?..
