I loved The Dark Tower. Read it fully - twice.
But Sweet Lady Brick is going to meet Mr. Stephen King`s Window if he doesn`t rewrite it`s ending.

I know I`m gonna get voted down, but Stephen King is NOT a very good writer. Why? because for every novel he has written that is worth reading, he has 10-20 that are absolute trash.
James Joyce, Virginia Wolf, F. Dostoievsky, Joseph Conrad, H.P. Lovecraft, Michael Ende, etc, etc, those are good novelists.

he`s popular so it must not be good.

stephen king isnt literature, like you`re trying to compare him to, he writes stories.

imjac the same can be said about H.P. Lovecraft. I really like Lovecraft but for every great one you read you have to sit through some trash. I used to hate stephen king, I used to joke about how he would spend 2 pages describing a button on somebodys shirt. Then I read the Dark towers and revisited his other works. now I`m a fan.

Stephen king is a great writer. He has hundreds of stories and some would argue the best in the world. There is a reason he is the most renowned author in the fucking WORLD! Not to mention most of his novels/short stories get turned into movies. now I wont go as far to say that all the movies are good because they certainly are not, but some of the best are credited to Stephen king. Shawshank redemption, the green mile, IT and many others. to say that Stephen king is a bad writer is down right stupidity. to say you don`t like his work because you have actually read some of his work and don`t enjoy it is just your idiotic opinion. but at least those latter people still read books.

Stephen King is GOD,

Just go out and fucking read his Dark Tower Series, JUST GO FUCKING DO IT. You`ll thank me in a month. Why a month because it is 7 books long which combined took him 35 years to finish (he started when he was 19).
