Must be a shitty nagging feeling... you apparently don`t know what life is about.

Seth is still alive cause God needs comedy (duh!). Just because you or anyone else doesn`t know why something happened doesn`t rule out it happening for a reason. Everything happens for a reason (cause and effect). Chaos doesn`t exist, no matter how random things look.

@Csmack,

Some people would argue that we don`t need to teach morality to kids. We seem to be born with empathy (and I think this is what Seth actually meant, rather than morality). A little kid, much like an animal, will naturally seek to comfort a sad or hurt person, even if they don`t have the mental capacity to really understand concepts like "comfort" and "harm".

As I think empathy is the most important part of morality, I can agree with Seth even if he was oversimplifying a bit.

Of course Empathy isn`t everything, but I think we are born as generally cooperative beings more than we are born as sociopaths... perhaps a little nurturing is a plus.
