Short Bass Instructional and Demo (8mins...

This clip I'm pretty sure was played by a guy named Brandy Calihoo or something. He first shows ya how to perform some of Victor Wooten's signature techniques and then continues on to play a few things... He's not bad.. but he breathes really loud and he really must not like to talk :[

whoever says this is bad can go to hell. the marcus miller song "power" is probably one of the best jazz pieces ever written on bass. and the thing that he plays near the beginning with the doubling up and stuff is probably one of the best pieces ever written on bass period, that is Victor wooten's "classical thump". the thing that he plays near the end is victor wooten again. im not sure what it's called but he played it with bela fleck and the flecktones. he is pretty good and he has an amazing tone on the stingray.

hes pretty good....anyone who thinks bass is easier than guitar should just go shoot themselves in the mouth right now becuase they obviously have no fucking clue how to play either instrument, or any musical intelligence what so ever.

I do play both, and found this instructional, but bass is SLIGHTLY easier than guitar in the long run.He is damn good, better than me, but he could do with some chord instruction and some work on completing runs,notice the slidey sound? thats him bridging several riffs, That needs work, other than that, good job man. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM.
