hehehe. Nobody told them what to think. That one young one who could at least be pushed through the logic, she`ll have to be whupped into line a little better, or they might lose her.

conservativism = truth by authority

liberalism = truth by logic

We have two main choices:

1. We can risk mistakes and flawed logic, and think for ourselves. If we are careful to reject garbage information, and work hard to use very good logic, we can win solid independant wisdom. This is very difficult to accomplish, but the payback is genuine truth. Unfortunately, few people genuinely succeed, and far too many become obvious flakes.

2. We can believe what someone more qualified tells us to. We can count on their superior education and skill, perhaps their purported authority with God, and that what they say makes us feel good, so it must be right and true. The problem is that authoritarian self interest has corrupted, and continues to corrupt, the entire conservative knowledge/reality chain. It`s become so bad that liberals can call out countless proven lies and distortions that have been woven into the cloth, going back to well before the Bible. Lies that beget broken, even obviously self-contradictory conservative "truths". But without the rigorous personal application of logic, the followers are like blind automatons.

My best suggestion of a healthy middle way is this: Think for yourself, but choose your information sources very very carefully. Study logic, and be relentless in its application to your own beliefs. Know that most conclusions must remain conditional, because most human knowledge is still evolving, and so any final answers must be open to refinement or revision. With careful application this is not a weakness, it is the very strength of human adaptability.

What a bunch of Hypocrites. Why is it when a woman breaks a law you always have to consider her emotional factors. If you want to label it murder then its murder, end of story. Don’t go around killing men abortion doctors in churches; he couldn’t be an abortion doctor if he didn’t have women patients with emotional factors.

society has SEVERELY CLOUDED, everyone`s views of each parties dispositions.... you must blame The education system for this. Teachers Unions SHOULD NOT exist. If a teacher is doing Poorly, there should not be a union rep to step in a keep his/her job. Unions are very good in different fields, but education is NOT one of them... support private education systems, and homeschooling and save your children from the our very own government`s (both democratic and republican) ridiculous ideals.
