the beatles, are no doubt amazing, but c`mon, people are still play guitar hero and rock band?? will they ever stop making these games? they`re going to milk this as long as possible. well, i guess someone is making money.

MachineHead: Probably, but it`s not really target towards kids. Most games these days are played by people around 30-40, trying to sell to those people are simply the best tactic. That`s why you see song packs for bands which were largely listened to i the 80s and early 90s like Van Halen, Metallica and AC/DC. Sure they still have a fan base, but if they were trying to get young people to buy the games the bands sold would be Slipknot or In Flames.

Too bad though, really, it`s just selling out to mostly people who don`t live with/by any of the morals or values that this music is based (peace, love, honesty, loyalty, common sense, etc)... kids these days.

I wish every band themed game was made my Harmonix...their games have so much more personality and class than Neversoft/Activision. While I really liked Guitar Hero: Metallica, I think it could have been A LOT better had it been Rock Band: Metallica. But that`s just me being picky.
