Fucking beautiful documentary. Amazing that S .Korea still stands. One should bear in mind to be ever grateful for those who fought for your survival. Especially when its someone who in theory shouldnt care what happens in another different continent. Dont get me wrong capitalism is the woopdee utopia but it sure as hell is better than communism.

nice upload. this is only slightly related, but every time i watch anything about the conflict between north and south korea, i always remember something my grandfather said when i was in korea. i remember at the time, two korean girls were just killed by an american tank. if i remember correctly, the girls were run over and trampled when the tank was on some kind of a practice course. anyways because of this event, many young koreans were protesting. they wanted U.S. soldiers to leave korea. after my grandfather saw these "kids" on the news, (this is how my grandfather referred to them. i think they were college/high school students) my grandfather was calling them idiots and dummies (among other nastier things). my grandfather then started to lecture me, and everyone in my family, about how dumb these kids were. he told us these kids were only protesting and acting like idiots because they do not know what the korean war was like and how terrible life would be under north korean rule. so every time you hear about koreans not wanting the u.s. military in korea, this is just the younger generations that do not remember the war. ok now i`m done with my rant, nice upload.
