Five US police officers in Birmingham, Alabama have been fired for beating an unconscious suspect who had crashed his car in a police pursuit.

allthough i dont agree with it, i can see the police point of view... one of their mates almost got hit cos of this idiot, plus u dont know what he done before to cause the chase, coulda been a cop killer... end of the day, if you have done nothing wrong, why run?.

the day you give police more authority its the day you lose all all your freedom. there is a fine line, and i think the accused is completely in his right.
All on video, he was thrown from a vehicle at high speed, he landed and appeared uncouncis, i dont care if he was faking. HE WASN`T FUCKING MOVING, if you come to arrest a person, and he wasn`t moving, would you put the taser on him? FUCKIN` NO. EVERY SINGLE OFFICER IN THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE FIRED AND FINED AT LEAST $100 THOUSAND AT LEAST
anybody on the police`s side whatever your story(i really dont care), your giving more power to the government, if you want that, go live in china if you want more power to the government.

sure i understand that but as a police officer should protect EVERYONES rights or you shouldent be a cop.. they did a good job catching the guy so now get him to a judge and jury so they can do there job! if a police officer breaks the law like they clearly did after the crash then they should be standing infront of a judge and jury. my point is follow the law even if youre a cop. besides you already have the guy.. no need to beat him when he is unconscious.

come on...seriously...the dude almost ran over their buddy and could`ve killed others in the reckless getaway. if anyone tries to run over me or my buddies, i wouldn`t hesitate to kick their unconscious head and pee in their mouth. sure, cops should be trained to show restraint, but they`re still human.

"don`t taze me bro" is police brutality. he was just annoying and not much of a threat.

alright then, just say this guy has killed your best friend who is also a cop. you just watched your best friend die, your friends with his wife and children and they will probaly lose their home along with their husband/farther... so you chase this guy down, he then almost runs another one of your friends down and then crashes... if you can honestly say you would simply walk upto him cuff him and take him in knowing, lets face it he has a high chance to get off on technicalitys or wat ever... then well your not human.

police are only human, some people seem to forget that

theres obviously a reason why these cops beat down on this guy... cos if they did this every day, then they wouldnt have the job for the enxt day. fire the police fine them what ever but look from a different view once and a while

he clearly swerved for the cop, actualy made a decision to swerve for him. fuck him, hope he broke his neck when he crashed and now is being spoon fed.
