Having a cell phone go off in the middle of his discussion is a little rude, but asking to take it away?
You fucking douche, just accept his apology and get on with the discussion. Not only are you making yourself look bad, but your stalling the interview.

That wasn`t even the first time he asked everyone to turn their cell phones on vibrate, after one went off. I used to manage a pretty laid back private pool with a couple dozen teenage lifeguards, and we had lots of fun, but even they were way more professional than those reporters.

Gibb`s response was demeaning on an equal level of immaturity, for fucks sake you all work at the white house try to show some class.
