I am happy that you were able to bring yourself out of your "what the bible says is gold" attitude and fundamentalism. However, you then say this man and what he says makes you want to convert to Islam? alifeva1, you don`t need any religion. You can disprove just about all of any religion. Sooner than later if you stay thirsty enough you would find another man, in another video, talking about converting from Islam to Buddhism, then what? Don`t put yourself in a box, be a great, active, and educated individual. Be fiercely independent. The minute you put yourself in a box, you belong on that shelf. No one thing, religion, political party, etc. can fit all of you. Keep looking for truth and you will see no religion holds it.

no, its not. the only thing hard would be reassociating with people who you have associated with based soley on religion. but if those people love you for who you are then your release of that crutch in your life should be celebrated rather then scorned.

sadly Victorio is not being a dick. hes being rational. it might offend you, but thats your problem. religion is the only institution in our society that gets an almost blanket immunity for no reason what so ever other then the notion that `faith` is untouchable. faith is mealy the belief in something with no factual basis. its childish, its reckless, its deplorable. we will never be able to succeed as species until we can put aside these irrational and irrelevant traditions from the bronze age. as astrology lead to astronomy and alchemy to chemistry, its time to drop the fables and progress with consistent and repeatable science.

compmex nailed it. No religion can fully or truthfully speak for God. If there is God, he/she/them/it is WAY beyond any of our pathetic human riligions, and their sorry distorted scribblings. Jesus said:

"God is love" and "The kingdom of God is within you."

The truth of God is written in our hearts, and in our minds. I think by far the wisest thing I have ever read is "The Art Of Loving" by Erich Fromm. If you want to do God`s work, it is the blueprint for understanding.

The old Abrahamic religions don`t even touch what you can become.

Yeah, I know, wishy washy, hippy dippy, cosmic love god thing. Sorry. At least I`m honest about it.

Nose Nuggets: He was being a dick because he called alifeva an asshole... I know it was a joke but it would just lead to more name calling. At the same time, I agreed with the insanity part. I didn`t say it was hard not to believe, I said it was hard to escape from... Some people grow up in very religious families and have emotional reasons to try and believe in crazy superstition.

This is one of those vidoes when I read the comments first and didn`t pay attention to~ "TheDeenShow". I feel like I`ve seen this guy in a Louie Therouxie programme. And I don`t care what you call it, I call it team swapping! Can you take it from there mr. garrison?
