Supposedly we`re supposed to be America`s greatest ally, and I know he`s just taking whatever steps he can to disagree with Obama, but...

Dresden was a beautifull city, the bombing caused a ferocious fire "firestorm" to destroy it`s huge cultural heritage. Coventry was a beautifull place as well once.

Liberals: decide what`s true based on the logical consistancy of the ideas themselves. Strenght: progressive and able to elimate errors or falsehoods based on logical analysis. Pitfall: misinformation or sloppy thinking can lead to bad conclusions.

Conservatives: decide what`s true based on the authority of who says so. Strenght: Best qualified people usually set the standards for comparison, makes for a stable system. Pitfall: corrupt authorities lie and distort, their lies pass as truth based on authority, and build the foundation for futher work. This eventually leads to absolute nonsense passing for fact. After several generations of this, you get the Republicans.

is Olbermann`s whole show just rebutting Fox mouth pieces? if it is thats fine, someone has to do it. but every time i see a vid here (i never watch the actual show) its always the same thing.

the only real qualm i have with Olbermann in general is he never points out the bad shit that Obama does. when bush was in power he had Oriely`s job. now that Obama is president they simply swapped roles.

olberman is a fucking idiot for missing that obvious stupidity as well as twisting history. Dresden was explicitly approved by Churchill because he realized the Germans did not separate their military infrastructure from their civilian counterpart.

Churchill may have ruminated on civilian casualties, but he also wholly approved of the nuclear attacks on Japan. go read the book by Richard Rhodes, The Making of the Atomic Bomb. Arthur Harris was the RAF`s strongest area bombing advocate and he had Churchill`s support the entire war.

This is the news commentary I can watch and enjoy. Biased in a sense, but straight forward facts. I don`t like that he always likes to talk about the retards at FOX, but this is an exception. Bravo Olbermann. You certainly know your roots.
