this stuff is usual. I`ve actually had people tell me things are real just because it`s written in the bible. I`ve actually had people tell me that there is a god and I`ll find out soon enough when I enter hell. There are actually people who have tried to give me reasons to why we are not monkeys (even though I told them previously that chimpanzees are our cousins and we didn`t evolve directly from them).

Evolution does not happen gradually. It occurs as a nessesity. I am a creationist who believes in evolution. The very things that creationism teach have been at the forefront of science for the last decade if not longer. "The Big Bang."

Arguing what religion is oldest is like having a pissing contest. Judaism is dated by stories. Tracing history by births of people and their children. Jainism is a relgion based in India and is one of the older Theist or Polytheist religions. It does not teach creation however it shares Moral structures and agrees in many ways with those given in the bible. Primarily the 10 commandments.

Before Judaism or the birth of isreal there was still a God. If you really wish to argue the point Islam was born before Judaism. Even though it wasn`t formed or founded until the teachings of Muhammad in 700 AD. Abraham had many sons however his first was out of wedlock. It was with his concubine since his wife was barren. Ishmael was the Father if Islam.

People should step back and consider what they think and how much hate they hold for Christianity and Judaism or Islam. If it wasnt for these 3 religions the world would be a vastly different and barbaric place. The Religions of Abraham have brought us out of a past of evil and immorality into a future built on morals and tolerance.

Christ helped us realize what we as people ignored. Jew and Gentile alike were ignorant of the truth. Jesus showed us that even the whore was Gods child. Even the Leper who was scorned by everyone was capable of being clean and healthy.

Now I am not a supporter of Catholicism nor am I going to bash the Vatican. But if you truely research for yourself look at the traditions of the Catholic Church both Pre Constantine and Post. Yes there was a Catholic Church before they were Christianized with the Coucil of Nicea and Constantine defeating Emperor Licinius in 323 AD.

You will see many similarities that will help you understand the brutality and ignorance of the Crusades. Rome was is and always will be. Before Christ there was Rome. Rome was pagan a very tolerant(if you consider annexation of land and people in the name of taxation and decree as tolerant) nation that was known to have churches or temples to 25 or more Gods. They were a waring people. They conquered all of Mesopotamia most of Europe and some of Asia.(this was all LONG before Christ and Christs values) My point is this. Rome was a brutal nation long before Christianity.
Rome didn`t die as a belief, it died as a nation.

Rome is Europe Rome is America Rome is Central and Southern America. It is South East Asia. And Rome is now finally after thousands of years Asia Major.

They may not control our Military or our Taxes but they do control major parts of the world economy. So they influence much of our lives but it isnt about religion. Never really has been with Rome. It is about control.
