If this is truth then i know the answer. These christians were told to believe in god (read: church run by man) and the only thing they were told about the present day torture principle is how it is good, so they think its good.

It isnt religion that determines what you perceive to be wrong or right. It is your simple mind, unable to reason, and being manipulated by all `credible` sources

So, they were tought by their parents to believe in god and now they are tought by their government to accept torture.

They accept and agree with it when the word comes from their religion, government or any other entity they perceive to be credible.

Summary of answer: youre prone to manipulation. Thats the only connection between accepting church and accepting torture.

Why do Christians think like that?

Because we feel the Muslim weapons of mass destruction
are pointed at us. Because for us its just a never-ending war
against us and our beliefs. In a war you do what you got to do.
