It happens about 1-3 times a year in MLB. Last time Yankees had it happen to them was Aaron Hill from the Blue Jays (go Jays) in 2007.

I live in Japan and don`t own a television, so the last time I saw an MLB game was pretty much forever and a half ago. Never the less, I stand corrected.

As a side note, the Blue Jays are a Canadian team, no surprise American`s can`t steal home.
