O LAME. I thought they where gonna have to use their bows. That is just insane. I`m glad that the bear wasn`t killed considering she has cubs. If you kill the mother bear, do you have to kill the cubs? Or will they not starve to death?

Also, did 1:19 remind anyone of Fallout 3?

SEV, they were intending to bowhunt, but guides always carry revolvers in Alaska. If the mother had been shot, the hunters would talk to local conservation officers/Wildlife official to find out what action to take, unfortunately it usually results in the "destruction" of the cubs.

I can`t condone hunting, its unnecessary, but it seems to me that hunting with bows and freak`n arrows is a pretty level playing field.
Also, thats one hell of a beer story.
