No, but those waves certainly give you an appreciation for why everyone was getting sick in the LCIs. Like the stress of knowing you`re probably going to die in the next week wasn`t enough, you have to endure thoughts of home and loved ones while on the brink of death, puking all over yourself.

^There were several more allied countries and forces that helped win WWII buddy. Although they were major allied players, many soldiers outside of those countries died for us. Those three countries you listed can`t take all the credit.

France was not attacked first, Poland was, and yes Polish troops did an excellent job but not much on D-Day.

Thats hard to take. I guess its easy to look back and imagine there must have been a better way, but who knows... Not me. I wonder how the youth of modern Germany feel when watching things like this? Also, how has nobody mentioned Canada, who was in that shit from start to finish. Canadian soldiers were notorious (In BOTH world wars) for never backing down, and I have read over and over accounts from German soldiers that they most feared fighting the Canadians.

The USA came into the war cause they believed that a war economy was far richer than a supporting economy, not because they wanted to "save the world". If you think im full of shit just look at the non stop amount of wars USA has been a part of ever since.
