Larry Summers` Gets Punk`d

Larry Summers` address before the Economic Club in Washington D.C. on Thursday was interrupted by two members of Code Pink who jumped on stage with a banner, yelling derogatory comments. Both Larry Summers (L), the Director of President Obama`s National Economic Council and David Rubenstein, Economic Club of Washington President and Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, seemed to take the disruption in stride.

Those protesters have a point: people will say anything for that kind of money.

Heck, I`d suck donkey dick for $5.2M a year. Twice a week even, if the boss asked real nice.

I can`t help but wonder, when we have unlimited incentives, how can we be suprized by the massive crimes? Shouldn`t we expect people to do any crooked thing for that kind of dough? Isn`t it obvious that most of the people who argue that it`s fair to make millions a year, are on the take somehow, and shouldn`t be trusted?

We won`t get any real social justice until we have a law that draws a line in the sand that says ENOUGH. We need a maximum wage cap to keep people honest and competative.

Even though it would be exciting, I`ll have to pass at $10. Judging by what I see most other people doing for that kind of dough ($5.2m), I would have to guess I would even swallow. Twice a week.

Seeing as you`ve put yourself on the market too, we`ll have to assume you`re negotiable like most of us. I think the only way to tell would be to actually confront a real offer like that. Again, from what I see going on, it would seem that most people would do anything for the big bucks.
