Ants are always fascinating. Strangely, I found it odd that these particular ants operate the same way bees do because other ants usually use chemicals to lay down their tracks.

i guess a new way to navigating had to come about because wind blows away sand so easily and quickly that it would be useless to leave chemical trails.
