why did he say that biologists don`t like that idea? it`s widely accepted that sudden abrupt changes are often the cause of speciation

It is accepted that sudden and abrupt changes are teh cause of speciation... But they are minute and caused mostly by change in environment causing selection to prefer one tiny trait over the other...
Not freak accidents that just happen to work better....

Agreed with Azunite, video is interesting, but short. I would watch a whole documentary on this.

The lack of evidence should not be the conclusion. If we know exactly where to look for those evidence, it wouldn`t call research or would it?

Luckily the shark`s head didn`t stop and look like 1:01 in the video.

We would then have to call it "penis shark"

Why is your head shaped like a hammer, shark? You can`t even see and also you can`t even nail things in the water. Silly shark...

It`s a freak mutation arising almost overnight.....
That developed specialized radar to locate prey...... in a hurry.

@ stbasdf
Speciation does not normally occur due to abrupt changes, it nearly always occurs when members of the original species start adapting to a new niche in the environment or get isolated from the original group.

Speciation happens slowly with small changes over time like evolutionists would usually expect but as the two groups do not breed with one another due to choice or the fact they are isolated from each other, they do not spread any evolved genes to the other population.

Over a long period of time each population will have noticebly different genes and in fact may not even to be able to breed with the other population, causing them to be classified as a different species.

Sudden large changes would normally lead that idividual to die out or not breed, the fact that it could go on to produce a large number of offspring who also survive is incredibly rare, hence why the evolutionists where surprised.
