Thats an aligator snapping turtle.

The neck can be the entire length of his body and he has a very powerful bite.

The Chicago zoo has one thats over 4 feet long.

For the uninformed:

It is NOT an alligator snapping turtle. That is an entirely different species. I`m not sure which, but it looked similar to a painted terrapin. The snapper has a different shaped head and shell.
