I love your show I think you guys bring important facts into light while entertaining your viewers. But your point on religion is distorted, especially of Islam.

Honor Killings are in no part of Islam. It may be a strand of fundamentalist CULTURE, but not Islam.

ALL religion is a detriment to mankind. It fosters a mentality of mistrust and hatred toward anyone that does not believe in the same things.

You just seem to be wanting to shift any blame away from Islam by pointing fingers at other religions. Pointing out that other religions are evil too does not make Islam blameless. These killings were motivated by religion, even if indirectly. Which religion specifically is irrelevant.

I know that most musilms are not extremists, however the most extreme religious fanatics seem to be muslim.

ALL religion needs to be abolished, and Islam is no exception. Once this happens, killing of this nature will all but disappear.

Religious Culling.

This culling is why the countries in question have so low progress rates. With Exception of England where most crimes like this are punishable by death, the levels of advances are low. Iran Iraq Saudi Arabia not only castrate themselves by killing free thinkers but then they inbreed like rabbits. There is so much hatred amongst the different sects of Islam that they would rather marry a cousin then keep a healthy bloodline. Look at Uday and Qusay Hussein were so morally and mentally lost. Their father and mother were cousins.

As a active member of a thoroughly mixed family I can say without a shadow of a doubt that we as free thinking Americans should be grateful these people are as ignorant as they are. Less chance they will kill our brothers and sisters who are fighting to give them some semblance of safe and sane lives.

I will forgive your mistake. I am a 34 year old christian male. You should hold your judgments against Christianity and take a deeper look. Where there is always fundamentalism in religion there isn`t always hate and mistrust. Most Christians believe to accept what God has ordained. Meaning if there is a Atheist or a Agnostic established over us as a president we have no right to question the will of god. Now in the past our older uncle Catholicism has bruised the general nature and unfortunately for most of the world has given Christians a bad name. We forgive them for that and hope that they can learn from the mistakes of the past. Judaism and Islam would be fighting without the pretense of religion as that fight started with ONE brother gaining a birthright over another.

I dislike those who use religion or belief as a excuse for needless killing. However it is going to happen whether we like it or not. It is the nature of the beast. Mans greed mans lust and mans desire for power are normally the true reasons we go to war. Not religion. Religion is only the guise for the mindless masses to be controlled.

So dont hate religion hate the person who uses it for his own gain. Truly he will not see the kingdom of heaven.

Honor always resides in the men, and shame (dishonor) is only brought about from the women. Therefore, you need to prevent the women from doing more or less anything. Keep that in mind when you see them dressed as bee-keepers, or in a hijab in less fanatical societies: both have the same origins in culture.

Islamic law does not allow a man to kill his wife, for any reason. There is nothing in the teachings of the faith that says a man should protect the honor of his stature in the community by committing violence against a woman.
