His mother-in-law was dying in the hospital, she was not with him. Your description making skills are not very good young jedi...

Unfortunately I live about 10 min from where this happened. His mother-in-law was actually already in the hospital when they got the call that she was in her last moments. They sped to the hospital and ran one red light/stop sign (can`t remember which). The officer actually drew his gun on them as well. The mother-in-law died while the cop was harassing him so he missed his chance at saying goodbye. His wife and daughter of the dying woman ignored his ass and went into the hospital anyway, to which I say, "GOOD FOR HER!!!"

At one point hospital staff came out and explained to the officer what was going on and he still refused to let the man go in.

The chief of police officially publicly apologized for the incident and the cop was suspended without pay.

I really hope they send that asshole to jail though, just taking away his paycheck isn`t enough for me. It`s just too bad what the cop did isn`t a crime.

I don`t mean to sound mean, but its the mother-in-law. Not as bad as if it was HIS mom, trust me, if it was my mom, i would have knocked him out silly. Gone and be with my mom, and go to jail later on, there are some points in my life where i would go to jail for, and that would be to see my mom before she dies.
