BBC Horizon - The Hawking Paradox 2/2

Part 1
Stephen Hawking is the most famous scientist on the planet. His popular science book `A Brief History of Time` was a publishing sensation, staying at the top of the bestseller lists longer than any other book in recent history. But behind the public face lies an argument that has been raging for almost 30 years.
Hawking shot to fame in the world of physics when he provided a mathematical proof for the Big Bang theory. This theory showed that the entire universe exploded from a singularity, an infinitely small point with infinite density and infinite gravity. Hawking was able to come to his proof using mathematical techniques that had been developed by Roger Penrose. These techniques were however developed to deal not with the beginning of the Universe but with black holes.

For about $150 you can buy a Creative USB brain wave & facial muscle controller unit. Why the hell isn`t Stephen using one?

may be because he likes the company of people. it`s pretty sad for the physical(health) situation he is in. he could bang so many girls, being this famous and all. but again, he wouldn`t be this famous if it wasn`t for his health situation. its a paradox (loosely) itself.

The theory that black holes are "eating up" the universe reminds me of the movie/novel "The Langoliers" by S. King.
Hmm..

Without mathematical proof, the therory stay in science fiction thinking... Sadly for Hawking, he probaly never finish work and stay behing Einstein in physical book.

But my opinion, Hawking is/was the most greatest physician of all time.

^ How can he be the greatest physican if everything (major) he`s done turned out to be wrong? Sorry, but the guy`s all hype.

Interestingly, Wikipedia says "X-ray RADIATION" is emited from the heat of blackholes and this is how we detect them.

But Wikipedia says twice beforehand that "NO RADIATION" comes from black holes.

So Wikipedia contradicts itself currently as of 2009/03/28 7:18 EST.

In one "sunny orange" photograph you can apparently see something emitted from a black hole. Shows up as a nipple.

I did see one programme that said both visible light and non-visible light is emitted from black holes as a "jet stream effect". Maybe there are different types of black holes.

But I`m sure if you internet surf around you will find people who believe that visible light comes out of some or all black holes from the center. Although this "Jet Stream" maybe small and therefore not readily seen to the human eye.

Are there different types of blackholes? Why should we think that there are only one type?

^^ ther r many difrnt types of black holes, over a thousand lol ... nothing can ever be emitted from the black hole, not even gamma radiation... the nipple thing that ure talking about is a mistake
